Our asoka storm eco lux yoga mat represents the yin and yang of life,  describing how seemingly opposite or contrary forces may actually be complementary, interconnected, and interdependent in life.

Yin qualities can be thought of as more internal, passive, cooling and downward while Yang is more external, dynamic, warming and upward.

Yin and Yang are relative to each other and one cannot exist without the other, you can’t have night (Yin) without day (Yang), or as with our mat…you cannot have storm without calm.  Both make up the whole.

Materials used in its creation

This yoga mat is constructed from natural tree rubber used as the bottom layer, with the newest technology microfiber top layer heat sealed on top.  The natural rubber makes for a stable base and awesome grip, with enough cushioning to give you all the support you need.  You can challenge your body as much as you like, knowing you won’t be slipping in downward dog! The mat is perfect for all that loves this beautiful practice.

The top layer is made from soft, luxury microfiber material that has been heat pressed onto the bottom rubber layer. It provides the ultimate grip and creates a positive, warming flow energy for your practice.

This mat was manufactured especially for bikram, power or sweaty yoga, as the additional moisture on your hands will create more traction on the mat.  To increase the traction of the eco lux mat, we suggest that you spray some water on your mat just before practice for that extra grip. As you learn to know your mat, you will require less additional moisture with your yoga practice.

Care instructions

To clean your yoga mat, wipe with a cloth dipped in a mixture of warm water and a little mild detergent. Follow by wiping with a clean damp cloth to remove the detergent. Leave to air dry before rolling or using again. (DO NOT USE A TUMBLE DRYER). You can also hose it down and leave it to dry in the shade.
